Wonderful experience, great facilities, very clean and comfortable room and a lovely breakfast. Special mention to the very friendly staff who looked after us. Mandy in housekeeping and Dave. Really top work guys thanks for making our stay so special. If I could give more stars I would.

Holiday Inn Express Droitwich Spa Date of stay: 10 June 2026 Room: 112 As a loyal IHG guest for over 20 years — historically staying around 70–100 nights per year, and now around 30–40 nights per year post-Covid — I feel I know the brand well. This visit to Holiday Inn Express Droitwich Spa was fully in line with the standards I have come to expect from IHG. Arrival and Check-In The hotel was easy to find using the postcode and sat nav, making for a smooth and stress-free journey. It is also conveniently located close to Junction 5 of the M5, near the A38 turn-off, which makes it a practical stopover location. Parking, however, was not quite as straightforward. Although there is a large car park directly in front of the hotel, it is shared with a busy McDonald’s and Harvester restaurant. As I arrived at around 6:30pm, spaces were difficult to find, which was also affected by ongoing car park repair and renovation works. Check-in was quick, friendly and welcoming, and Izzy on reception made an excellent first impression. As an IHG Diamond Elite member, I was warmly acknowledged and offered the choice of bonus points or a complimentary drink, which was a small but much-appreciated touch. Room and Cleanliness The room was spotlessly clean, well presented and in good condition, fully in line with IHG standards. Fixtures, fittings and linens were fresh and well maintained. Dining Experience Breakfast offered a good balance of continental options and cooked items, all included in the room rate, which is always a plus and one of the useful benefits of staying at a Holiday Inn Express. Check-Out Check-out was smooth and efficient, with professional and courteous staff ensuring everything was completed quickly. Overall Impression This is a comfortable, clean and well-run hotel that delivered the reliable IHG experience I have come to expect. The only slight downside was the parking situation on arrival, but this did not detract too much from an otherwise solid stay. I would happily return. Rating: ⭐⭐⭐⭐☆ — 4/5
