We got there late which is fine. We thought it was a hotel but it was a motel. Upon walking in, there was a damp musty smell, the mirror was cracked and the toilet was running. We turned to close the door and cockroaches crawled all around the door. One was in the peep hole on the door. Very cringy. The floor was dirty, it made my feet look dirty just from walking around. We had to pay extra when we stayed bc it was football weekend. Not worth it. And breakfast was only a muffin. You can hear every single sound from outside and it was if when the neighbor walked around, it was actually in our own room. Definitely will never recommend or stay again. Staff was nice at front desk.

This place was deplorable!! It smelled of smoke and mold; we asked to be moved to another room, and it smelled the same. The bed linens had stains and pubic hairs. The customer service via email auburnlodge@auhospatilty.com was rude and not helpful. The person claimed all the rooms were cleaned, which was a lie. DISGUSTING! DO NOT STAY HERE!!!!

Auburn Lodge was a perfect overnight stay on a road trip. Clean, comfortable, everything worked well and was in good repair and staff was friendly. The bathtub was a bit slippery so use the bar on the wall when getting in. Plenty of restaurants nearby and the price was great.
