Guesthouse Suites Plus

The room was clean and the water was hot. The location was nice and the air blew cold. The bed was soft, the couch created a nice seating area. There was a pool but i didn't swim in it as i was there for something else.

At first glance I thought well thats what you get for the cheap price. However, this turned into a great experience. The room was clean no bugs and had everything we wanted. The bed was even comfortable. The staff was super friendly. They helped us with everything we needed. The location was fantastic. We were so close to everything we didnt even use a full tank of gas in a week of exploration.

My husband was born and raised in Huntsville and wanted to return for a quick visit. We wanted someplace economical and close to relatives and friends, so we chose this, The Huntsville Hotel and Suites. I am not sure what word I want to use to describe the outside appearance. It looks like maybe at one time these may have been townhouses. I don't know, but it didn't look like a hotel to neither me nor my husband. Check-in was smooth and the receptionist was friendly. We were pleasantly surprised that the room included a full kitchen with dishwasher, stove, frig, microwave and a breakfast counter. But the suite was very old and worn. It felt dirty and used to me. I didn't feel comfortable walking around with no shoes on. the Overflow drain in the bathroom sink was rusted and there were burn marks on the carpet. There was free Wi-Fi which was down most of the four days that we were there. The free breakfast consisted of cold cereal, bagels, donuts and cook your own waffles. We got this room at a really good rate, but I don't think that I would want to stay here again.
