Microtel Inn & Suites Thomasville

The staff was nice. The breakfast offerings were dismal to say the least. The sanitation grade was 86, so we had already decided we would not eat there no matter what was available.No coffee pot in the room. The bathroom looked dingy and the water in the tub didn’t drain, leaving you standing in inches of water while you showered. The linens appeared to be clean, but I wasn’t able to get past the 86 sanitation grade. Until they upgrade dramatically I would not recommend. They DID promptly reverse the $100.00damage deposit.

This room was not worth the stay. I told them about the tub backing up, roaches in the bathroom and someone out my window until after 1:30am arguing loud on the phone. And NOTHING was done.

If you want to stay in a 2 star hotel that is close to some stuff but in the middle of nowhere this is it. We went to the zoo 37 minutes away and stayed here because of points. The rooms are reasonably clean but bathroom floors look very nasty, my family is in another room and their bathroom floor is nasty as well. The elevator is broken and lobby restroom is out of order so thankfully hardly anyone is staying here or they are climbing stairs. Don’t expect much of anything for breakfast but it does have basics. All in all it’s a standard 2 star that is fairly cheap to stay in.
