Millennium Alaskan Hotel Anchorage

Great location with a beautiful lakeside view. We were finally able to have dinner outside after a few rainy days, and it was such a nice experience watching the seaplanes land while we ate. The food was good, and everyone on the staff was welcoming and friendly. A special thank you to our server, Ivana, who was attentive, kind, and made our evening even more enjoyable. We would definitely come back!

Horrific. We have stayed at the Lakefront numerous times throughout the years. We stay because of the convience to the airport and the planes of course. The sad part of this once grand hotel is the increasing demise, filth and service. We paid $648.00 for one night of pure disgust. The entry, hallways and rooms are awful. What was once a lovely experience has left us feeling ripped off and abused. Examples of the worst service EVER was being ignored by our waiter as he joyfully attended a group of that were seated way after us, then he told us he was no longer taking orders outside as he continued with his buddies. Then, at the coffee window, when it was my turn, I requeste black coffee, Large, and was abruptly told, "We don't have coffee." Seriously, only expresso is available, and if you want coffee i have to close the window and go make it. What!!!!! Unbelievable! We will never return. It is so very sad to see what was once a gem and a wonderful experience has turned into a huge , expensive craphole.

I was at the hotel for a couple days and boy, that bartender i think her name is Meggs she makes the best margaritas in the world, also her service was a perfetion.
