BEST WESTERN EDGEWATER HOTEL

The good, inconvenient, and quirky. The hotel has a beautiful location overlooking the bay, although I had a street side room. The bed was comfortable and the shower good. The inconvenient is that the bathroom was slightly less than 5 ft.²square. I’m 5‘2“, and my arms could touch both walls on both sides. The sink was outside the bathroom door with a 3 inch apron that left little room for your cosmetic bags. If you were standing at the sink and the bathroom door opened, it would hit you. The breakfast was a very average and adequate hotel fair which you paid a Restaurant price. The lobby area is beautiful, however, the reception desk was less than friendly. The hostess for breakfast was very nice and attentive to her job. Parking is on the street.

We came to Seward the night before our day cruise. This hotel was great! We had a view from our balcony of the inlet and was able to see whales that night. They recommended a couple of places to eat! Wow it was great! Our bags were delivered to the train going back to Anchorage for us the next day. We will definitely be planning on coming back to stay here.
