Quiet, peaceful, clean. Very friendly

We booked directly through the resort and were initially told room per night was 93.00 dollars each night, with no mention of resort and parking fees. The night before we were charged 312.66 which assumed was including taxes. Once we arrived, we were informed there was another charge for resort (35.00) per night and parking (18.00) per night. We shared our frustration that wasn't reflected in their advertised price or any other booking site making their pricing look deceptive. Additionally, we told the lady we didn't have a car to warrant the parking fee. She said she would try to take it off, therefore it should have been 105.00. Our credit card was charged 168.14 which was more than the resort fee and parking combined. Our portfolio shows it should have cost us 430.80 but was charged 480.00. But it doesn't stop there. After we had left the resort on our way home I received an email that additional charges were placed on my card. We left the room clean, nothing missing so couldn't figure it out. Tried calling to find out why even more charges. No one with customer service would answer the phone and mailbox was full. So I called reservations. She hung up on me twice and once said she was transferring me to someone that could help which was the same customer service line with no answer and full mailbox. Very deceptive resort. Will never stay there again and only recommendation would be don't go there.

Great location, easy to dock if coming by boat. Atmosphere is Florida Keys casual. Rooms were comfortable and clean, bed just the right firmness and great showers. Good value for the price. Noise level was not an issue at all, and the service was outstanding. The amenities were great except for two items. #1, there is no ice on site at the marina (non functional ice box) and the closest ice machine is a self-serve a block away. Not a big deal except for item #2. There are no carts or other method to get your gear from your boat to your room. Picture boating down from somewhere else to stay and go fishing with 4 people. Bags, coolers, fishing gear etc. getting hand carried from boat to room and if you are at the building near the road it is going to be a hot and annoying multiple trip endeavor. Other than that, the staff was fantastic (shout out to Brenda the property manager and Sara the Dockmaster) who are relatively new but working like badgers to whip the place into shape and to Jose' the maintenance guy stepped in to assist with bags and gearThe boat slips were great; power and water at each slip. I would definitely stay there again if they have better transit for the mountain of gear that we had for the trip. Access to restaurants is decent and a number within walking distance, and others are easily accessible by Uber or taxi.
