The View Hotel

The penultimate hotel to stay at if you want to be submerged in Navajo culture. Rooms are top notch with epic views of Monument Valley at a very affordable price. Onsite restaurant was very good along with a gist store filled with hand crafted Native American items.

Spectacular location, adequate facilities, somewhat outdated and worn but acceptable. The rudeness, lack of willingness to help, and unpleasant responses from the staff working there are striking.

The views were magnificent. We didn’t eat at the restaurant because of all the reviews we read before getting there so can’t comment on that. The rooms were very clean and the views from the balcony were phenomenal. The customer service was ok. I saw what prior reviews were talking about, especially at check in. At check in they weren’t rude but definitely not enthusiastic about seeing us. For breakfast they were more nicer. The breakfast food was ok. Would still recommend staying there for the views and accessibility to Monument Valley. We were there for sunset and sunrise. 17 mile drive is literally right there. We stayed one night because we were on a road trip and Monument Valley was one of our stops.
