BEST WESTERN MESA INN

The hotel room was filthy, roaches on the floor and walls, the drapes were falling off the window. The hotel was in disrepair. I have never stayed in a place that was so dirty and in such disrepair, don’t go there.

This place is a complete dive. Non-functioning toilet, sink doesn’t drain, tub is falling apart and looks like it had be brought in from the dump. The door key had to be replaced after *every* use, causing me to go to the front desk every time I wanted access to my room after returning from being gone. Photos certainly show that they do, indeed, waste money on painting, but by someone who had never painted before, far from covering the walls and ceiling while tagging furniture and outlets and light switches all over the place. Everything about the lack of upkeep screams: we don’t care about our cleanliness or your comfort. See photos.

I rented a room for a homeless family member so she had a safe place for the night (I am 1500 miles away). I wanted to pay the deposit on my CC since she obviously had no money and they wouldn't let me. (It wasn't readily available on the website that there even WAS a deposit required, but thats another issue!) I cancelled the reservation within 10 MINUTES of making it and they would not give me a refund, even after Booking.com spoke with them too.
