Thieves.. sunglasses stolen out of my light jacket pocket I had worn on plane.. I left my bag at 11am because I couldn’t check in so I left bag in their supply closet at 11am, when I returned at 3pm, my backpack was fine but my jacket pocket unzipped and my Oakley case containing my Oakley sunglasses gone. I can say with 100% certainty the son of management or maid stole.. thieves

On Saturday night, January 17th, my wife and I booked a stay at your hotel because we were attending a concert at the Van Buren. The room and hotel are beyond awful. Our room was dirty and nasty. There was blood on the walls! The sheets were filthy, the bathroom was dirty, the tv was broken, I could go on and on. The room actually looked like a crime scene. The grounds of the hotel were no better. Jars of some unknown iquid by the stairs???? Homeless folks wandering around, smoking, asking for handouts. This is not a hotel I would EVER stay at again or recommend. We left immediately, and the clerk, who was very nice, apologized and said she would cancel the reservation ad the charge. I still got charged!! What a truly awful experience. This review will be shared on every travel platform I can find. KA

Hotel absolutely filthy, no recourse from hotel or hotels.com. Horrible neighborhood so unsafe to try to get another hotel at night with no transportation. Only real positive was good lock on the door.
