Hampton Suites N./happy Valley

I chose this property expecting a comfortable, restful stay and requested a quiet room in advance due to a medical need. Unfortunately, the room I was given had constant freeway-level noise... it genuinely sounded like traffic was right outside the window throughout the night. There was also a persistent plumbing drip. I asked to be moved only to be told "We're fully booked, sorry". After identifying an ADA accommodation need, they eventually placed in another room... But it was even louder, with the same issue. After multiple nights without adequate sleep, I checked out a day early and moved to another hotel. I did attempt to resolve this afterward, but the outcome hasn’t reflected the overall impact of the stay. If having a quiet, functional room is important to you, it’s worth being very specific about room placement here.

I stayed at the Hampton Inn & Suites Happy Valley on 11/4/25 for one night only. We were at the first stop of our lengthy roadtrip and in town only for the night as we headed to the grand Canyon and decided to stay here for our first stop. During my booking, I mentioned that it would be our first time in town and was celebrating my wifes birthday and the staff went above and beyond making an otherwise "simple" one night stay into our most memorable night of our trip, even amongst other "higher end" Hilton branded hotel we stayed along our journey. The amenities were awesome, the room was sparkling clean and we love the special touch of decor you provided! Thank you for the touch of hospitality and your lovely card. Thats what hospitality is all about and you guys nailed it, would return at this hotel without hesitation next time im in Phoenix because of this experience alone. Happy Valley is a great, calm area with lots of useful stores in the near vicinity like a Walmart. Parking in the hotel was safe, simple, and free. The breakfast the following morning was even better than I expected it and the omelettes were delicious. The only small recommendation / suggestion I would have is to either have a vegetarian omelette option, or clearly label them. On the outside it seemed like it only had red and green bell peppers but upon tasting it, I found out it had ham. Not a problem for me, but my wife is vegetarian and luckily I found this out before she took a bite of hers. There was two sections of omelettes next to each other and I thought one might be vegetarian but looks like they were both identical. Aside from that, everything was perfect!
