Pros: friendly staff, nice pool, comfortable bed Cons: I can't sleep with a loud a/c unit running, so I usually cool the room down & then shut off the a/c overnight- I can sleep in warmer temps, especially when it cools down overnight like it did in Scottsdale, BUT the a/c controller on the wall made an ongoing loud clicking noise that made it difficult to fall asleep! Also, the free breakfast rate was confusing- if there was fine print, I didn't see it/understand it. When you book a room with "free breakfast", you get the generic buffet, it does NOT mean you can order off the breakfast menu that is posted on the hotel website, which has many nice options. The buffet is so-so. Yes, it's "free" with a more expensive room rate, but a transparent explanation of what kind of breakfast costs how much extra and what is EXCLUDED from the "breakfast" room rate would be appreciated.

I travel to the PHX area twice a year and prefer North Scottsdale because it's quiet with great restaurants. I usually stay at the pricier Hilton Cavasson but decided to give this hotel a try. I was pleasantly surprised. I used the fitness center and enjoyed sitting around the pool. Your Honors benefit is enough to cover a Continental breakfast basically but I enjoyed a 3-egg omelette instead. Being a hotel, of course, the menu is pricey but your Honors benefit helps. The buffet was $18 and did not look great, I would order off the menu or do the Continental breakfast instead. I will stay here again when in town.

Loved this property. Friendly staff like Yvonne front desk. Good location for Food and highways. Excellent pool. Will definitely return.
