Radisson Suites Tucson Hotel

Not sure if we were upgraded or very ensuite room is as nice, but we had such a sweet setup, with two entrances to the bathroom ensuring privacy, loads of light to read or work by at night in the outer area. Mattress was little soft for me, but slept well. Extra bonus feature was a terrace to sit out in. Ours overlooked the pool, which is beautifully maintained, as is the hot tub.Open from 6 am-10 pm the aqua center is available to work out in early before the sun gets too hot, or lounge around in late. 24 hour gym has everything one needs. The set up itself is kind of cool; multi levels one being a bar area with ample seating and a generous happy hour I am sure attracts locals. Best was breakfast. Everything was fresh with loads of healthy choices plus made to order pancakes or omelets I've stayed in some Hiltons that were real dumps-this place is a Palace!

A bit run down and shabby in a few places. My roomed has a smell that was somewhere between ‘forgotten leftovers’ and ‘call the coroner. It was pretty awful. I asked to change rooms at reception but unfortunately all rooms were taken. Staff were friendly and helpful and did offer to help get rid of the smell, but were not successful. I was offered some additional points as compensation (many thanks) and I held my nose and gradually got used to the smell. Evening drinks were good but expensive without a voucher. Didn't try the food as it didn't appeal to me.
