Great but not perfect. Would stay again

I have stayed at many Red Roof Inn locations over the years and usually have a positive experience, but this property fell far below expectations. During my stay, the staff were consistently unfriendly and unhelpful, which created an uncomfortable atmosphere from check‑in to check‑out. I was assigned room 126, and the door lock did not work properly. Each time I tried to enter, I had to use a specific “trick” that staff showed me just to get the door open, which is not acceptable for basic security and convenience. The room itself was reasonably clean, but the ongoing issue with the lock made it hard to feel relaxed or safe. There is a coffee machine in the lobby that advertises regular coffee, hot water, and decaf. However, regular coffee was never available at any point during my stay, despite it being clearly labeled on the machine. This may seem minor, but it reflects poor attention to basic guest amenities. Overall, the combination of unprofessional staff behavior, a faulty room lock, and poorly maintained amenities made this a very disappointing stay. I hope management takes this feedback seriously and addresses these issues so future guests have a better experience.

The hotel has been completely renovated and was very clean. The price was great bang for the buck; you could pay much more for much worse. The only issue we has was that none of the liquid soap, bodywash or shampoo containers hanging on the walls were filled. We got by for one night with the bar of soap left on the bathmat at the edge of the tub.
