Swiss Village Inn

Pretty basic hotel. Nothing special but good for a night stay. The pool was nice. Staff were friendly. Definitely not fancy at all in any way shape or form but if you need a safe place to stay the night or two, it’s alright.

We booked a king bed room online. The room was nice, clean, and everything worked. When we had a problem with the plumbing, it was dealt with immediately. We were surprised by a $40 security deposit which we had not been told about when we booked. However, it was returned to our credit card the day we left. This place was good value for what we paid.

To begin with, the bedframe was made of some material that caused a loud noise like a trash can lid slamming every time you adjusted your position. The cleanliness left something to be desired and on top of all that the owner kept the damage deposit alleging the room was trashed!! We are frequent travelers and always take the time to gather all linens, clean up any trash, and tidy the space before we leave. This is absolutely ridiculous and I am sure a common scam!
