I was surprised at how nice the room was. It seemed to be recently renovated and it had fresh paint, nice bed, very clean. Good working AC, microwave and fridge. It even had a very clean small pool...

Right off the bat - the area was fine. Some "colorful" characters on the street, but we have never felt threatened. Not the best as far as nearby businesses, but I f you have a car, you'll be okay...
