Country Inn & Suites

My partner and I go to Barstow every few months to meet with friends. This hotel has been adequate but over the last couple of years, new policies greet use at ever stay. First if I partner arrived first, he could not use the reservation I set up (even though I added his hame). Not sure why. Next it was that the same credit card needed to be used. Fine, we got a credit card we could both carry and use. Today, the front desk greeted my partner by telling him even though his name was on the reservation and we have the same credit card that I needed to fill out a PDF form authorizing the stay. How hard does it have to be to stay in one of these hotels? Its a great location for our activities but it is clear we need to find other alternatives and they won't be IHG properties.

Clean, safe. Decent breakfast with 3 kinds of eggs

Had to stay in room the entire night without a functioning bathroom. Told no one was available to fix the problem and to use bathroom in the lobby. General manager refused to refund half of one nights rent as a result of the major inconvenience. Would not recommend staying at hotel due to managements lack of concern about potential hazards at hotel.
