Bodega Harbor Inn

Traveling down the coast, we were fortunate to book a last minute room at the Bodega Harbor Inn. It is the one hotel of our trip that I would choose to come back to if traveling this way again. It's a small motor inn, but incredibly well cared for. You can tell that the owners and staff work hard to make it clean, warm and accommodating. Our room was small, but comfortable for two people. The furniture was well kept and the room was clean. Parking was ample for guests. The location is hard to beat. There are two markets and three or four restaurants within two minutes walking distance. It also has easy access to Highway 1, but isn't directly on the highway, so the noise is lessened. Some may have challenges walking beyond the local area because there are no sidewalks, but we didn't see that as a problem. There is a nice view overlooking the bay and plenty of chairs to sit and enjoy the view if the weather cooperates.

This hotel is in a great location, allowing quick walks to the market and at least 2 nearby restaurants. Room was clean, comfy and spacious - we stayed in unit 3 which is large with a big bathroom and big bed. Very quiet at night. Great view of the bay in the lawn seating area. Only negative was a lack of curtains. The blinds gap on the sides allowing people to see in the room. Additionally, the lights from the office light up the room at night without having that added privacy layer.

Misleading. It says “pets allowed” but apparently that just means that the pets are allowed in only certain rooms. I booked this room only to find out that my pet would not be allowed despite what the website said… no pet rooms available of course. Weekend ruined with word games. F u c this place
