American Inn

Stayed there on Thanksgiving night. I should have spent more time investigating my options in Chico. American Inn should be razed. Broken toilet paper holder and towel bars, two towels/no face cloths, one tiny bar of soap, two hangers that appear to have been stolen from someone's luggage, long black hairs on two pillows, had to go to the front desk to get a blanket, as there was none on the bed, no coffee maker, old fashioned TV. The list goes on. The only saving grace was a comfortable mattress and clean sheets. The East Indian manager was friendly, so can't complain there. Do yourselves a favor and choose another motel.

Booked this hotel for one night via the hotel website. Arrived with the front desk telling me they don't have my reservation, despite me showing them two email confirmations. He was, however after 10 minutes of 'looking up' my reservation, able to provide me with a room. The room was in very bad shape. Windows could not be closed entirely and locked. Two of the three lights in the room didn't work. The carpet was stained. Closet door was missing. Closet rod was missing. Some outlets didn't work. Bathroom ceiling was peeling paint. The tank cover to the toilet did not fit. I was glad I only spent one night as I was terrified that someone could've climbed into my room through my unlocked windows. I tried to check out the next morning at 8am, but the office was locked with no one in sight. I have to wait another hour before someone is available. DO NOT stay here, even if it saves you a few buck.

This place is so gross!! Me and my boyfriend stayed for two nights in a row in the same room. And by the time the second night was over and it was the day we left we woke up with bites all over us. So itchy and miserable. And I even brought my own comforter and blankets so er didn't even sleep,in,the sheets but still got bit all over us both so it must be infested. I'm so grossed out and disgusted to know bugs were apparently crawling on me in my sleep! Next time instead of saving the extra 30$ I will just go somewhere, anywhere else!!!!
