CLOVERDALE OAKS INN

added a day on they didn't get it and locked us out of room / need cleaning -old dirt in spots thy don't clean the chair room bad new -spots stains / need up dating towels gray and thin / not nice at he desk need some people skills l

We just needed a bed basically since we were up in Cloverdale for the half marathon, so this seemed like a good deal compared to most. Its your basic motel, you get a clean bed, clean bathroom and a tv, not much else. It is in a good location to be able to walk to the restaurants and shops in town. The room we were in seemed recently updated. It is a bit noisy as it doesn't really seem like it has insulated walls or anything. The guy behind the window was straight forward and easy to deal with. This place did seem to have some questionable characters staying here, but thankfully they didn't cause any headaches for us. Not a bad place if you just need a bed and shower for about 8 hours.

I had to detour because of the serious forest fires and all the other hotels in the area were booked up. I now know why. The place was run-down, dirty, and the service was indifferent at best. I was glad to leave.
