Best Western Suites Coronado Island

Great location; rooms nicely arranged and big; fabulous breakfast. I wish there would have been an indoors hot tub and pool. The hot tub ( very small) and pool were outside, but it was still nice to sit near the pool after the sun went down and relax.

Low-class hotel. Old and with absolutely poor services. Eaten-away doors, chaotic breakfast with limited hours, and parking by luck. Old facility with carpet. And an incredible smell of mold/stale air. Among the worst things are the famous fees they make you pay, promising you services that don't exist or are poor quality. Specifically: 1) Wi-Fi. Nonexistent. It keeps dropping and not working. When brought to the attention of the reception, they play dumb, talking about how to select privacy settings. Then, with a surprised look, they can only say: sorry. 2) breakfast: a hole in the wall. Everything is frozen and needs to be heated in the microwave. And that might even be okay. Too bad the hours are 7-9. And at 9 they lock the door, and if you are inside, they invite you to leave!! Never seen anything like it. Usually, if breakfast is until 9, it means I can come down at 8:55 and you won't kick me out of the room. You simply stop putting out more food. The result of this? People stuffing themselves by taking as much as possible out of the room to be able to eat on the 4 dirty sofas in the small courtyard and continue breakfast past 9. 3) gym. It is listed as a benefit, and they don't even know the hours! The first day I leave at 6 PM, I arrive at the gym (by the way, without a car you're screwed because on foot it's at least 20 minutes from the gym!) and at 7 PM it closes. The next day, Friday, I go an hour earlier and... gym closed! And at our hotel they knew nothing! 4) parking. Everyone parks where they want, not caring about those who have a large car and occupying spaces that should belong to larger cars. Result? If you arrive late and have a large car, you risk being left out. In short. Highly unrecommended!!!!

Excellent value in Coronado! Very clean and well maintained property. Rooms was very clean and comfortable. Friendly helpful staff. Underground parking is a huge bonus as parking can be a challenge in Coronado.
