L"Auberge Del Mar is in a beautiful location near the California Coast, but I feel like they're counting on the location to make up for an otherwise mediocre product. I was paying about $800 per night and got a room directly overlooking the main drag of Del Mar, which is noisy. I complaned but nothing was done. So much for the coastal charm. The elevator in my wing of the hotel looks like it hasn't been attended to in 30 years - dingy paint with chips in it and very tired carpet. Two items really demonstrate their lack of attention to detail and give-a-s..t attitude. They mention they have a Peloton, so I brought my gear. When I went to the fitness center there was a sign on the Peloton saying it was under repair. The trainer who was there said the sign had been there for a month. I mentioned this to the front desk and they said they were on it. I stayed 4 days and it was still inop when I left. Ditto for Netflix. I called and said there was no connection. They sent an "engineer" up to tell me that they were working with Direct TV and it would be fixed. It wasn't. Although it's disclosed, the valet fee is over $80 per day with tax. That seems very steep. All in all, this place is far less than it appears to be. It's a shams such a beautiful setting couldn't offer a comparable guest experience.

Don’t expect to find chairs by the pool or chairs and umbrellas for the beach They have too little for the number of people in the hotel. Disappointing

Everything was perfect from beginning to end. I arranged this stay as a birthday gift for my daughter, Victoria, and the hotel exceeded all my expectations. I would especially like to recognize the concierge, Hadia Suljuki, for the exceptional service, kindness, attention, and professionalism. Hadia promptly answered all my questions, carefully assisted with every detail, and arranged a complimentary bottle of Champagne and a birthday card for Victoria. This thoughtful gesture made her celebration even more special and memorable. My sincere thanks to Hadia and the entire L’Auberge Del Mar team for making everything so perfect.
