Motel 6 Eureka

We booked this motel through Expedia for 2 nights. Our room was super clean and staff were very friendly/helpful. We would not hesitate to stay here again.

We were so disappointed. Since my friend has a bad knee, etc, we had asked in advance for a ground floor room. What we got was a second floor room with a long set of steps. They said that the firemen that were there took precedent. I’m all for our first responders, God bless them, but honestly, I think those younger, stronger firefighters could have climbed those steps much easier than two little old ladies in their 70s!

We stayed here on 5/24/2024 for one night in room 147. The room was very nice. Very clean and completely updated with full size bathtub and new flooring. We would’ve stayed two nights if it hadn’t been for the price. The normal AARP rate for that room is $75 plus tax. Because it was the 1st night of the Memorial Day weekend we “got” to pay $112 plus tax. If we had stayed another night the rate would’ve been $175 plus tax!!!! For that much I would’ve expected to at least be provided with a little bottle of shampoo! There was no tissues in the room, no hand lotion, no pool , no continental breakfast and certainly no view of anything other than the wall of the next building. Nothing to justify more than a 100% increase in price other than a date on the calendar. I highly recommend this property as long as it’s not a holiday weekend when it’s overpriced
