A lovely vintage guesthouse feel with thoughtful touches like a pet basket, wine glasses and bottle opener. Fresh flowers and fresh cooked breakfast that included apple dumplings(🤤😋)made the stay especially nice. Its situated downtown close to lots of local fare like the Skunk Train, Guesthouse museum and several drinking and dining choices.

We came here for a couples getaway from SF for the skunk train rail bikes. We were doing to bring our small dog, and against it last minute. That was one of the reasons we booked Atrium though, as it is a very pet friendly b&b! Their cat Ru is super friendly, and their 2 small dogs are adorable. We would highly recommend staying in one of the bigger rooms. We originally booked Buttercup for the price, but upgraded to one of the other rooms once we got there because they were double the size and much nicer. The one we upgraded to was Interlude / Sea Breeze and it was adorable. The house itself is a grand Victorian and had a very historic feel. Beth’s breakfast was also amazing. There were only 3 guests staying there that night but she still cooked a full buffet breakfast that was included in the price — eggs, bacon, sausage, homemade biscuits, apple dumplings, fruit yogurt, juice, coffee, the works!

The Atrium Garden Inn is a wonderful place to stay. My husband and I stayed three nights to celebrate our anniversary, and although we first came as guests at the inn, we left feeling like family. There are so many intricate details in the way the inn has been remodeled and decorated that it feels like a home away from home. The owner Beth puts her heart into all that she does at the inn, which definitely includes the breakfast! She arrives at 4:30am every day to ensure that a warm and delicious homemade meal is made with the freshest ingredients and is available for guests by 7:30am. My husband and I chose to sit at the table closest to the kitchen, and as a result were able to enjoy many intellectual conversations with Beth as we ate our breakfast. Beth wants every person to feel comfortable at the inn, so if guests need anything they are welcome to ask for it. The innkeeper Michael was very helpful and thoroughly explained self check-in procedures when I called to let him know we would be running late and arrive after 8:00pm. In person he is kind and always smiling and has many stories to tell. When we forgot one of our travel pillows in the room after leaving, Helena promptly messaged us and asked us what we would like them to do with it. The inn even has a very sweet cat called Ru that greeted us when we arrived and Beth brings her dog Choco, making the place very pet friendly. Overall the experience was magnificent and we look forward to returning soon!
