The Holbrooke

We stayed over the weekend for 2 nights at holbrooke hotel. The hotel is so cute with classic historic touches. It serves one of the oldest working elevators and saloons in the country. The bathrooms and rooms have vintage pieces as well including a claw tub and rotary phone. Absolutely no expense spared on the boutique decor! The patio was elegant and downstairs was a cozy speakeasy bar for extra fun vibes. The location was right next to so many stores, taverns, and quaint eateries. There is also a strip downtown a 1 minute walk away with a movie theater and several local businesses from goat milk products, hand crafted clothing, local olive oils, and even a classic marquis theater! Perfect location for a fun quiet weekend. The hotel was so clean and the beds were lush with fluffy pillows. I had one of the best nights sleep. Lastly, the service was phenomenal. Kim, the front attendant was so kind and informative about the history of the hotel. She fixed a tiny issue for us and went above and beyond with customer service. I couldnt recommend this beautiful place more!

Great location downtown grass Valley. The food and cocktails were wonderful too. Staff was super helpful. It is also dog friendly. Very historic, of course.

I like this hotel quite a bit. The rooms are quiet (on the back side of the hotel, and the rooms have a nice comfortable bed. The rooms are clean. The Rooms in the front (king suites) are subject to a lot of street noise on Main Street. The Hotel is conveniently located and close to the freeways and several solid breakfast and lunch restaurants nearby. The staff are always warm, friendly, and helpful.
