I have lived less than half a mile from this Nightmare Hotel for over 30 years. It has a beautiful view...and that's it!
I have not stayed there, but I have had guests stay there twice. That nice Pine-Sol smell! Dirty carpets and walls that need to be painted. Rusty bicycles that have been chained up with flat tires for years.
The place may have been quaint in 1958 but it's become an eyesore now and, I suspect, a fire trap.
It can't be haunted, no self respecting ghost would hang out there! I never see any lights in the room windows. The restaurant in the facility moved out years ago,and the place is vacant.
Please, please knock the thing down. It's an embarrassment! The property must be worth a fortune.

If you are looking for a friendly, welcoming place with great staff - this is the place. The staff is warm and of course the location is great!! Redondo Beach is wonderful! Great vibrations and lovely place to go take a walk - even to the beach!

Showed up at palos verdes hotel in redondo beach, CA on the 28 Dec 2015 for 6 nites only to be told when we went to check in by a security guard that the hotel had been closed due to a fire back in June 2015. This booking had been made thru. Hotels.com back in June 2015. Have emailed both hotels.com and the palos verdes hotel and not received a reply. According to the security guard a lot of people have shown up at the hotel with paperwork. If you have had the same problem, please email me at janet.spencer3@ntlworld.com. I am appalled at the lack of customer service by the hotel and Hotels.com. Avoid both these companies at all costs.
