Millennium Biltmore Hotel Los Angeles

Good day, while the hotel is lovely with some beautiful features and architecture, staff quite lovely including the housekeeping ladies, it is always a problem getting the security deposit paid back to our credit cards. We book a number of rooms and the occupants all pay for their own security deposits. Every year we have the same problem, the deposits are never paid back timeously and we have to send numerous emails before any action is taken. Would somebody kindly check on the emails that I have sent in the last two days - emails have been addressed to Frank and the front desk office with the subject line being - BILTMORE LOS ANGELES - SECURITY DEPOSIT ISSUES 2026

The hotel on arrival gives full on Beverly Hills Cop luxe - as this was the hotel axel foley checked into - check out the original foyer down stairs with fountain. Service on arrival was friendly and knowledgable. The overall downstairs felt movie star fame - the crystal ballroom, the lobby, all do the hallways are stepping into a movie scene. As a film buff that was amazing. The room itself was fine - beds fine, linens inc towels were also new and fine. Bathroom dated - carpets dated, and windows paper thin so even on the sixth floor you could hear someone’s phone ring on the pavement! My partner used the pool - I looked at it - and it was nice. Getting there did feel a little like walking into the shining hotel though - especially all the old pictures along the way! The hotel is near the metro so we travelled via the metro to universal, Venice beach and Hollywood BLVD - so is easy to get to. Taxi from the airport was $70 though.

Beautiful hotel and well worth staying there for it's history alone. So many films have been shot at this location. (For the Swifties, "Delicate" was shot in the foyer and the bar.) For Gen X Pretty in Pink and Ghostbusters were also shot there! Club level was excellent, as it gave access to the "club lounge" where they provide breakfast, dinner and snacks. location is excellent if attending The Broad or the Disney concert Hall up the road. Also near Central market and Angel's Flight. Heated pool is of a good temp. In all, good value hotel. The one drawback is that as the hotel is located next to the Jewelry District, it's a bit sketchy at night.
