Very clean. Very quiet. Comfortable room. Fridge and Micro. Amazing shower pressure. Lol! Nothing extraordinary, but all you need for a family of four. Very good air-conditioning. Free drinks and coffee downstairs. The Nearby "Happy Burger Place" is BOMB for food. Ate their twice! Everyone was kind and accommodating. An hour and 15 from the park, so to save money, but a nice drive. In Mariposa which is such a cute little town! So many eateries and shops! Better to stay in Mariposa--- better than the more sprawling, nearby Oakhurst. Thank you, managers for a very nice, three nights stay.

I was more than a little disappointed in the Monarch Inn. No towel racks, outlets put halfway up the wall at one end of the room. Had I not packed extension cords, I wouldn't have been able to charge my phone or run my CPAP! We had NO cell service in the room despite being on their wifi! We went outside to get it. We had a view of a brick wall out our window. Trying to get ice, the sign said use only the bucket which I had to take from another room. When I shared these observations, the only response from staff was a blank stare. I wouldn't recommend them.
