BEST WESTERN PLUS VICTORIAN IN

This quaint hotel is charming, the rooms comfortable, location is fantastic, free breakfast was exceptional and everyone we encountered there was fantastic. It is located very close to Cannery Row and the aquarium in a very walkable area. The underground parking right next to the hotel was convenient and very easy to get in and out of. Any future visits to Monterey will include a stay at this inn.

Dirty. Smells like dogs. Unfriendly staff. Very weak breakfast buffet. Old-fashioned hotel that should have been renovated 20 years ago. Very expensive for what you get: a small smelly room without air conditioning.

Let’s start from positive! Location is very good. Walking distance to aquarium and restaurants. Room is spacious and has a fireplace, which we enjoy. They had included breakfast! Nothing special, but anyway better than nothing. I don’t know in what kind of solution they soak cut apples, but was not eatable. Happy hour vine was appropriated! Views from room was not good, but most important very quiet. Negative! Most disturbing was bed sheets. They were so bad looking I don’t know if i ever seen anywhere like that. California 2026! To me they looked like not even washed before prior guests. Furniture is so outdated, specially two sitting chairs. Carpet is so old. This place definitely needs new face. I don’t think I would like to come back.
