If you just need a bed to sleep in for a single night and nothing else, this place is fine, but if you’re staying for two or more nights, I highly recommend booking a different motel. We woke up on our checkout morning to water leaking straight out of the wall, creating a puddle right by the front door. When we brought this up to management, they offered zero customer service—no discount, no partial refund, and not even a gift card or credit for the major inconvenience. To top it off, the parking lot is extremely crammed. People were even parallel parking right by the pool area, making it a pain to navigate. The drainage for the bathroom isnt that good so make sure you get lots of towels. Between the lack of helpful service and the tight parking, you're much better off spending your money at another hotel in Monterey.

Clean and quiet. Recently remodeled comfortable mattresses good soft bedding extremely reasonable if you get this at a discounted price in the $60 range I spent six nights here and each room that I had was very comfortable. motel is staff is friendly, front desk is very accommodating. They have a automated coffee machine in the lobby that opens about 7:00 a.m. which makes surprisingly good coffee.I would not hesitate to recommend this to anyone friends family etc. There's probably 10 motels on this block although I've not stayed at all of them this by far is one of my favorites to stay in Monterey it's close to the beach,wharf and cannery row.i Walking distance to a mall which has a California Pizza kitchen Chipotle Starbucks and whole foods market. excellent choice for travelers

GREAT place to stay. Secure, clean, inexpensive, convenient. Rooms are nice and large with comfy King beds & pillows & linens, nice showers, black-out drapes, large TV with tons of Direct TV channels, fridge, microwave, in-wall heat & AC unit, and a very good Vietnamese restaurant next door, Plenty of free parking right in front of rooms. Very close to all there is to do in Monterey, literally a 5 minute drive to Fisherman’s Wharf and Cannery Row. EXTREMELY affordable rates that are significantly lower than other Monterey hotels. Best of all is the SOLID Management by Tej and Mike: they were always professional and accomodating, approved my reservation change (I asked to postpone it 1 week due to serious rain storm) without penalty and even allowed me to change rooms with no hassle. I’ve stayed here before with same great results and will stay again. HIGHLY RECOMMEND!
