Wine Valley Lodge

My wife and I stayed at the Wine Valley Lodge this weekend. My wife had to attend a class Saturday and Sunday in Napa. The front desk was very helpful in explaining the area and the checkout time and the continental breakfast. The room was nice and clean. The hotel is situated close to downtown Napa and takes about seven minutes to drive downtown. The continental breakfast was good with the usual food like coffee, cereal, fruit, pastries and bagels. This is a nice place to stay and we would definitely stay here again when visiting Napa.

I have been going there for years and it has been nice rustic place. They used to have warm breakfast and an adequate shower. Now, they have pathetic cold breakfast and offer powdered creamer for your coffee. They changed the shower heads to restricted output. It is so restricted you have difficulty washing the soap off. The toilet paper is so thin you can see light through it. Too bad, a nice place that has seen better days.

A disclaimer that I was only here overnight for work, and left before I could try their breakfast. That aside, they were very friendly and efficient in the office, and the room was nice. Not huge, but nice. My only complaint might be that the toilet was fairly small, and that's coming from an guy with an average build. Close to food downtown as well. Parking on-site. I'll be staying here in the future.
