Park Plaza Hotel

DON’T DO IT!!! BEWARE!!! The good reviews are extremely old!! This place is SO run down it is disgustingly bad. I believe this place has been transformed into a homeless housing project idk how they are even allowed to still sell rooms saying it’s a “hotel” ummmm. The smell in the rooms is awful, scratched paint and disgusting carpets, no breakfast, lounge, restaurant, or airport shuttle btw (all falsely advertised on Hopper). JUST DON’T. We might not even get refunded but we just left because we didn’t feel safe. Oh and the elevator clearly hasn’t been maintained in forever I thought it would break right there on the spot it was jerking so bad.

Would give 0 starts if I could. Overall environment is terrible. As you enter the parking lot it’s very run down, there’s urine on the floor and a lot of activity. I already paired online for my room based upon the pictures they have uploaded looked like it was a decent hotel for $78. But I guess you get what you pay for. I barely check in for a 1;30 minutes before leaving. Something didn’t sit right with me staying in that room at night. All hotel rooms usually have an extra security latch on the door to where if the door does get unlocked someone still shouldn’t be able to get in due to the extra security latch that’s on top. Sheets were dirty, carpet had major stains. Holes in the ceiling, and I also spotted bloood on the base board of the wall in the hallway. Entering in my room I was only given 1 face towel and 1 big towel when I specifically booked the room for 2 ppl and when I called to get more they said they wouldn’t have anymore until 6;30 I called at 4;45. Don’t ever book here they’ve turned it into homeless supportive living tho there isn’t a report on it, there’s prostitution in this hotel, and many violent crimes that taken place at this hotel. Parking has so much trash, ppl are just standing around in the parking lot. It’s also a lot of broken glass in the parking lot, the gates are not secure at all anyone is able to come in if they want to and the area with the way things are set up it’s very sketchy and a incident is bound to happen. But at the same time I guess this is what u get when u pay $78 dollars for a hotel, it’s convenient because the airport is close proximity but if u care about your safety U DONT WANT TO BOOK THERE!!!

I booked this hotel so that we can attend a concert at the Oakland Arena. This hotel was the dirtiest and most unsafe hotel I’ve ever stayed in in my life. This hotel makes Motel 6 seem like the Taj Mahal. The workers had a bulletproof vest on and a mask, there were people loitering all around the inside and outside of the hotel grounds. Thewalls were filthy. There was blood fingerprints all over the walls, the elevator carpet, and the main carpet was black. Our room door was previously kicked in, so the didn’t work only the latch did. The chair in the room was all ripped up and torn, the bed pillows were filthy, the view onto our patio was disgusting, old mattresses,and garbage everywhere. The latch didn’t work properly. Felt completely unsafe and ended up leaving within 10 minutes of getting there. Do not risk it, it is unhealthy and unsafe. If you leave your car there, you will not have tires when you return!!
