We went in the middle of July, (off season as it was 114 degrees!); the hotel is incredibly tired. Needs a huge amount of updating. Love the color scheme of the hotel - very 60's kind of feel. The pool loungers are old and rusted; lots of broken springs, towel bins weren't emptied each day.
Ice machines didn't work on some floors; fridges were turned off; AC works great in the rooms. A nice balcony overlooking the pool.
Nice Mexican restaurant in the hotel; great margaritas.
Front desk staff were BEYOND HELPFUL. INCREDIBLY NICE AND WELCOMING.

The whole hotel and pool area was incredibly quiet because of the time of year.
It was a great deal for two days mid-week.
Restaurants close by, but close early in the off-season.
Would I go again? At this price? Yes ...... at full price, I would be upset at how tired it looks.
