Holiday Inn Express Indio

Stayed at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Indio - Coachella Valley and had a great experience overall. We arrived pretty late, but the staff still welcomed us with professionalism and genuine hospitality, which made a difference after a long day. Check-in was smooth and quick. The room was comfortable, and the bed was nice and firm—exactly what was needed that night. A solid, reliable stay and would definitely consider coming back.

We got tickets to a show at Fantasy Springs and then tried to get a hotel room. Several places were sold out because it was during the Indian Wells Paribas Open. We booked a room at the Holiday Inn Express and paid almost 5 times their normal rate because of the event. Lesson learned. They sent me a link to pre-register and I filled everything out, yet when I arrived at the hotel they had me repeat all the same information I had already given them. The lady at the front desk wasn’t rude but she wasn’t overly friendly and welcoming either. The hotel was clean, the room was large and the beds and pillows were comfortable. Breakfast was great with a wide selection of items and their famous cinnamon rolls. There was plenty of parking even though it was sold out and the location was very convenient to Fantasy Springs. We basically just slept there but it was a pleasant stay.

This hotel is bare bones, and overpriced. The hotel staff make zero effort as far as pleasantries are concerned, and the headboard in my room was disgusting (see photo.) There lights in the room are incredibly bright with no ability to dim them, so you’re either in total daylight brightness or darkness.
