HOLIDAY INN EXPRESS SAN DIEGO

I called the front desk for assistance because my toilet significantly leaks every time I flush. Damaris, the receptionist, is a terror. She is aggressive, rude and unwilling to help. Damaris is refusing any assistance besides housekeeping to “wipe up the sewage”. She will not provide the contact information to anyone else on the property. She is a bully and customers should have options when a significant issue is happening regarding the sanitation in their room. She tried to blame it on a water shutoff for plumbing, but the issue began before the water shutoff, and is coming from the physical toilet itself, so they are two completely different matters (although she can’t seem to comprehend it).

We showed up after midnight traveled from 3 hours away, and still we were greeted and checked in by a kind guest representative. The room was very clean and bed was super comfy and felt very safe.

One night stay in San Diego, Reception staff very friendly & welcoming, room ok, curtain hanging off (we fixed it), air con very loud, excellent shower and products, carpets in hallway & doors of rooms all bit shabby. Good parking, tiny pool, breakfast good, overall fine but definitely needs some tlc. Did get a few bed bug bites. Stayed in a few hotels on this trip & never had this before. Not near anything without a car. Visit Coronado - best to stay in this area tbh
