Wonderful stay. Very comfortable rooms. Staff extremely friendly. Good location to walk to major shopping and fairly close to Chinatown ( where I did a food tour-recommend). Breakfast was delicious, added to room package when I booked room and pleased that I did. Bar staff friendly, light menu. All was positive experience.

This is in a convenient location just a few blocks from Union Square. While near the Tenderloin District, we felt very safe and there is a security guard monitoring the front entrance. Were only there one night but everything was very nice, clean, etc. We also were able to grab a bite to eat at the hotel which was nice since it was on the later side when we arrived. Staff are helpful.

Stayed here Sunday-Tuesday for my daughter’s graduation. The historic hotel itself is clean and has been renovated, but showing its age. Turn left when going out the front door and the location is conveniently located to high end stores and Union Square. Just don’t walk in the other direction! Walking, using my GPS, took me across the street and down an alley which was pretty sketchy. Pros: Conveniently located Historic renovated hotel Nice clean fitness center with plenty of equipment Amazingly nice and helpful staff Cons: No in room coffee maker Limited water bottle filling stations and ice machines
