Civic Center Motor Inn

This hotel is perfect for a solo traveler or a couple that is not picky and wants to explore the city. The location and price cannot be beat! I have stayed here a few times and always find the staff to be friendly, the rooms clean and its walking distance to so many things, Ballpark, Ferries, BART, SFMOMA and tons of restaurants, cafes and shops. If you need a place to sleep in the city and dont care to pay for all the "frills" at other hotels. This might be your spot.

We stayed two nights at this hotel in San Francisco with friends. The room was smelly and little soundproofed. You can hear all the noises of the street and nearby rooms. Even the area where it is located is not the best in the city. I honestly wouldn't recommend it.

Reasonably good hotel as for 2* standard. Rooms are comfortable and spacious, well equipped - much better than in case of similar standard hotels. Cleanliness and cleaning service at fully satisfactory level. Disadvantages are closed swimming pool (for the whole 2 weeks of our stay) and very loud street noises all dav long and part of the night as well.
