Good location for a giants game. Not far from the stadium. Newer build or remodel, whichever the case. We stayed here before with our baseball team and they were nothing but the best to us. Now, that was not the case this past Saturday when we came back from the game to enjoy sitting on the patio outside. They have giant Jenga and other games for the kids to play but what was troubling was the restaurant manager who circled us all evening from 5-8 pm. We were one of three parties that were eating there all evening. The drinks were flowing and we ordered dinner. We ordered pizza offsite for the kids because they don’t offer pizza nor did they offer a kids menu. The waiters also told us they didn’t care but the manager did! Same waiters from last year too. I asked the manager if there was a problem. He said no outside food. I said so should we stop ordering drinks and take the food elsewhere? He said it was fine just this once. Then they ran out of coors light. He kept circling us the entire time. My friend went inside to order additional food, said we couldn’t and had to order on the patio. We want to spend money here! What is the issue!? Then at the end, the manager charged us for a party of 20 a percentage gratuity automatically. We weren’t a party of 20 and the waiters even said it to us when I asked where the charge came from. It’s asinine to treat customers who by the way were one of 3 parties out on the terrace. All evening. We warned the next family who ordered a pizza for their kid as we were leaving that the manager will torture you for the evening on the patio if you eat it there. Additionally, they used to have this fun rubix cube gift where if you solved it they would give you a free drink at the bar. Not anymore. The semblance of really good service isn’t visible here anymore. If we wanted to stay at the four seasons or fairmont, i would have. This isn’t that type of hotel. Do better.

OUTSTANDING facility! Easy walk to all the conference centers. Great restaurant and separate coffee shop/baked goods onsite. Hotel rooms are luxe/gorgeous with incredible rooms of the city! Most importantly though, the hotel staff and service was unbelievable. From finding out things to do in the area at check in, or the door man going out of his way to help me get floss(!)! Unfortunately, I had a personal medical emergency while there but Colleen and the security team came to my rescue and called 911 and took care of me until they brought the gurney up to my room and wheeled me out! That’s the kind of service I didn’t know I needed but am unbelievably grateful for. You can trust this crew for literally all your needs!! They’ll take care of you!!

I have never written a review but the stay was so amazing I felt I needed to share. From the second we arrived Jamel (I think that’s how you spell his name?) was friendly with our check-in. He was super accommodating and made my birthday trip extra special. Everytime we saw him from that point forward he made sure to say hello and chat about what’s up next in the itinerary and offer recommendations. The hotel is beautiful but the staff is truly what made our stay. My dad works for Marriott so I have stayed at many Marriott’s in my lifetime but this one takes the cake. I will definitely make a point to stay here again in the future! Thank you Jamel & Clancy staff!
