Good Hotel

We stayed on the weekend of Friday, July 31st through Sunday, August 2nd. Edward at the front desk greeted us and answered all our inquiries, giving us useful information on where to find good dining in the area. It was nice to see that they had a helpful parking/security man right there on the hotel parking lot. I forgot his name but he made us feel welcomed. When we discovered that there was no air-conditioning and thought we would be uncomfortable, Edward sent up a fan without delay. Although I thought the outside noise was going to be a problem with the window open, my boyfriend and I still slept well in the comfortable bed. When the shower head broke off, Edward had it fixed right away while we were out. Also, when we came back later that afternoon, room service replenished our towels and made our bed, which was a pleasant surprise, and I wished I had some cash to leave for a tip before we left, so sorry to them for that. When the elevator went out of service, it was back up and running again right away. I especially appreciated the fresh, filtered water station provided for guests to refill our water bottles. So I give the Hotel Garrett a score of 5 out of 5, not to mention that because I need plenty of strong coffee, Edward gave me a couple of extra coffee packets, without hesitation. We had a safe and comfortable, accommodating and pleasant experience at the Hotel Garrett!
