HOMEWOOD SUITES BY HILTON SAN

Good location, relative to sfo. Old hotel. Carpet needed to be changed 10-15 years ago. Furniture is from the 1980’s. Like staying in an old motor lodge from the 70’s. Bathroom look clean but wreaks of urine. Sink is the size of a small bar sink. This hotel needs to be gutted. I am paying $20/day to park my car in spots that aren’t big enough for a toy car. They allow giant trucks to straddle the line leaving no spots for others yet don’t have them towed so everybody else parks on or over the line. I went to grab a water from a cooler marked cold and got a heated bottle of water. Was odd. Just turn the frig off if broken. Why heat the drinks? Maybe your only option due to price but realize what you’re going to get. Others who can’t afford a nicer hotel and - generally speaking - won’t care as much for taking care of the room. The ownership doesn’t care about the room…why should you? This is a nasty hotel. I will never stay here again.

Where do we start? Our room had no A/C. When we asked for the A/C to be checked, no one came to do anything. It was the weekend. The room only cooled with the windows opened, but then we heard everything all night long. It made for a very sleepless night. We asked again on Monday. When we returned in the evening, we were told they had to order a part. They did not know when the part would arrive. They could not move us to another room because they claimed to be sold out. Instead we were given two box fans to cool the room. The front desk staff's attitude both times was apathetic. We also noted that the conditioner in the shower was empty and asked for it to be refilled. It was not. WI-FI was non-existent after the first night. None of our devices could connect to the internet without using the hot spot on our phones. You expect better from Hilton. We will be asking for the Suite Assurance Guarantee.
