A grand old hotel that is more old now than grand. When I first visited 50 years ago it was one of the best. Of course, the Top of The Mark has great views and if you catch the right bartender you will have a great time. But the rooms seem tired with an odd mix of Goodwill furniture arrayed without any elegance. WiFi is horribly weak with less than 1 mbps up and down. No lunch room service. And the main lobby does not inspire one to hang out. The competition a few blocks away are at another level. The one reason to stay here is the location (and it IS THE location) and to save a few bucks while you visit the better food options nearby. Sorry to have to report this sad decline.
