Inexpensive motel, modest breakfast, slightly outdated rooms, free parking in San Francisco and amazing location.

Our family stayed 3 nights in July 2026 and I wouldn’t recommend. The room was spacious but felt dirty and had mould on curtains, walls and the shower. We were on the second floor and due to the elevator being out of operation, we had to lug heavy luggage up the stairs.

This motel is an a perfect location in the Marina district walkable to everything you need in San Fran and accessible to public transit otherwise. The motel is kept clean and the staff replenish towels etc quickly. That is pretty much the end of the pros. The beds/pillows are EXTREMELY uncomfortable. The “to go” breakfast is toast and cereal which isn’t a great grab and go option and ends up with 10+ guests crammed in a hallway eating (no tables). The blinds don’t block light. Overall if this place committed to some necessary changes (bed toppers/pillows/improved breakfast/blinds) it could really be a star. It just isn’t quite there (even for the price).
