I would like to recognize a front desk employee who was working the morning of June 13, 2026. My family and I had experienced a very difficult travel situation due to significant airline issues and arrived feeling stressed, frustrated, and overwhelmed. While checking out, the gentleman working the front desk took the time to listen to what had happened. He asked thoughtful questions, offered helpful advice on how we might recover some of the additional expenses we incurred because of the airline disruption, and genuinely showed concern for our situation. What impressed me most was not just the advice he provided, but the kindness and empathy he showed. In a matter of minutes, he completely changed our outlook on what had been a very frustrating experience. He made us feel heard, supported, and reassured. By the time we left, it felt less like we were speaking with a hotel employee and more like a friend sending us off on the next leg of our journey. That level of hospitality is rare and deserves recognition. I cannot say enough positive things about this employee. He is exactly the type of person every hotel should want representing their organization. Please extend my sincere thanks and appreciation to him for making a difficult day so much better.

Hotel Nova had a slightly outdated feel but was overall a comfortable stay. The room was large and clean and well-equipped with amenities like a microwave and a hot pot. The Wi-Fi was fast, and the TV worked well for streaming YouTube. The staff was friendly, and the check-in/check-out process was smooth and efficient. Breakfast was simple yet sufficient, featuring bread, boiled eggs, waffles, cereals, juice, and coffee. Given the price, it offered good value. The location was convenient, with Costco right across the street and SFO just a 15-minute walk away. In addition, the nearby SamTrans 292 bus stop provided easy access to San Francisco. Overall, a decent choice for a short stay.

No doubt this is to me the best hotel in the SFO area, 4 min away from the airport with zero traffic, no highway, local street. I visit the bay area and sfo regularly and this is where I always choose to stay. Staff super friendly, very clean, convenient to transportation, car rental (Fox) is across the street, Costco across the street, a really beautiful hike across the street. Laundry is 2 min walk on the same side of the hotel. Bus station to the city 2 min walk. One tip, ask for Jan if you needed anything, he is the manager and he is a super amazing person who traveled the world so if you wanted to go around the beautiful San Francisco his advice is golden.
