Hampton Inn & Suites Arroyo Grande Pismo Beach

The decor and room design remind me of a renovated Motel 6. A mini fridge is not standard in every room, so if you plan to store leftovers from the day, be sure to request a room with a mini fridge. I really wanted to like this property, but between the lackluster customer service when I reported an issue with how hot and humid it was in the bathroom (there’s no fan in the bathroom and it was extremely hot and humid while the room was chilly) and the lack of hot water on two nights between the hours of 12am and around 8am, I cannot give this location more than three stars. At first, we thought maybe it was just a coincidence that there wasn’t hot water on the first night when we wanted to shower around 2am, but when it happened again on the second night between the same timeframe, we felt certain this was a coordinated effort to either manage hot water or to prevent people from showering past midnight. When I raised both issues to the front desk, the attendants seemed surprised that there wasn’t any hot water available between those hours, and also said that no one else has complained about the heat and humidity in the bathroom. Both asked for our room number to send someone to check into it, but no one ever came. Needless to say, I will not stay at this location again. Also, there’s an ant problem in the bathroom.

Nice hotel local to pismo beach and outlets

Hotel was a terrible stay. Water stayed lukewarm warm, had plumbing issues and nothing was replenished. Would not recommend anyone staying here
