1) The hotel is NOT a Best Western hotel.
2) The hotel is affordable but the place is outdated.
3) The pool and hot tub are closed permanently as stated at the front desk.
4) It appeared to me that the hotel may be struggling to stay open.
5) I contacted BW since it showed online as a BW hotel to see if I could still get rewards points due to the misleading info online and was told no.

No longer BW! Very sketchy. Owned by Poppy Bank. Clearly struggling after BW left. Got the ick. Sheet torn, clock way off. 2:40 am, rough sounding men outside my door, yelling, MF this, that & other. Thought I was going to have to hit floor. Went on close to hour, leave come back, yelling,he’s going to jail, more language. About to call cops when quieted. DON’T GO HERE!

Pillows filled with lumps. All the bathroom amenities were empty. Bed had been remade and filled with hair curls and wrinkles the housekeeper Guadelupe {Lupe) Gallegos said this has never happened before. This bed was never changed. We were put in the back near the bushes and had repeated knocks on our door. No response from the front desk. When we approached the front desk manager Maryann she said there was nothing she could do. We got into a heated and I mean heated argument as to why she put us in a back room when there were 50 vacancies everywhere. She had no idea how to handle an upset customer. We ended up roaring at each other and name-calling. The breakfast was an egg and sausage burrito half warm from 7-11. AWFUL. The coffee was undrinkable. She fought every question I asked. I guess she worked late the night before and early in the morning. She gave me the managers card which turned out to be the front desk manager not the hotel manager. His name was Simon and he never returned any of my calls. DON"T EVER STAY HERE as you will regret it. The dirty sheets were the worse thing as we had to sleep on them. We are gong into litigation with BW for a complete refund and this is just the beginning. I hope they remove her from the hotel as she is the reason they have such a low re-visiting %. Let me add that I called from Walnut Grove 2 hours to ask if we could check in early and she said she didn't know. I also requested a first floor as I am 81 years old and can't handle stairs. She didn't know if she could accommodate us with that. We made reservations through EXPEDIA and were later told they give EXPEDIA people the poorly situated rooms. That is so true. I have been in contact with Expedia 3 times so far and we are waiting for more responses. My first call was supposedly DAY'S Inn which turned out to be the Winegrowers Inn, then finally turned out to be Best Western. I never once booked this reservation at BW. I can't tell you what an awful experience this was for us. The following night we stayed at The Sandman in Santa Rosa which resulted in the best room, great 1st floor location, perfect breakfast with a wonderful attendant and an A1 desk clerk. Parking in front of our room.
