Travelers Inn

The bathroom was full of mold (under the sink, the grout between the tiles, the window ledge) and clearly hadn’t been throughly cleaned in a long time. Even the cord on the wall-mounted hair dryer was moldy. I know you get what you pay for, and I’ve stayed in plenty of budget hotels, but this bathroom was the worst I’ve seen. The exhaust fan was broken, so after just one short shower, it would take over an hour for the condensation to clear from the mirror, even with the bathroom window open. The entire room always felt damp, including the toilet paper, towels and bedding. Quite gross. I know the climate in SF is damp, but I used to live there, and I’ve never stayed anywhere in the Bay with that. The manager seemed unconcerned and told me that it was because the building was old (which it is, and not that well-maintained, I might add). We visit family in SF frequently, but even for the price, we won’t stay here again.

Clean room. Friendly and helpful staff. Had to cut my stay short by a day, and the management made the change with no issue or charge. It is so difficult to find a good hotel value in this area. Will definitely stay here again.

I was very pleased with my accommodations at this charming little motel. It is located in a nice safe spot in South City with a Jack in the Box, a Subway, a Grocery Outlet and a Chevy's Restaurant right across the highway. The room was clean and nicely appointed. It felt inviting and comfortable, having all the amenities I needed for my stay. The staff is very congenial and they made me feel welcome. I slept very well as the area is quiet late at night. I had planned to stay one night but enjoyed my visit enough to book an additional night. I look forward to my next stay and would recommend Traveler's Inn highly.
