The Gateway Restaurant & Lodge

We were VERY disappointed. The lodge is outdated and areas are in disrepair. Cobwebs near bar over looking creek, outside , facing the rooms looks like a junk yard. DO NOT GO.

Great views of the river, cute atmosphere but we thought food just average. We expected superior for price. Server didn’t know much about different steaks and kept calling my husband Boss. I’d recommend you just get a burger and enjoy a cocktail and the view. Reserve a table by the window for best view of river. Or in warm weather the front, outside tables give you great river watching experience.

Horrible. My niece and I both had ravioli with Alfredo sauce and both of our dishes, tasted like fish. The presentation of the dish appeared to be jarred sauce poured over the top of the ravioli. My sister-in-law’s twice baked potato was a frozen twice baked potato that you get at Walmart. very strong taste of instant potatoes. Very disappointed with the quality of the food and the overpriced menu. we had to have send our drinks back to be corrected as well. Our waitress disappeared and came back later and said she was on a break. The average meal was $32. Very disappointed. The food tasted like premade frozen food that they try to pass off as freshly made.
