Best Western Gardens Hotel

This hotel is a total dump. I promise you no one should visit or come to this hotel, except for the health department. It needs to be condemned, shut down and remodeled completely from the ground up. It’s a total total mess. There’s pigeon crap all over the place all over the doors all over the stairs all over the stair railings the rooms are nasty. There’s feathers everywhere screens falling off the windows. This place is atrocious. I wouldn’t even let my grandmother stay here.

This is one of the worst hotel experiences we’ve had on our trip. The room was in very bad condition: black mold around the bathtub, rusty sink, curtains so dirty that you don’t even want to touch them – and half unhooked. The general cleanliness was shocking: the pool was completely green, the jacuzzi disgusting, and everywhere there was an impression of dirt and neglect. Breakfast was another disappointment. No one to greet or help guests, although we could clearly hear the staff talking on the phone in the back room. What makes the experience even more disappointing is that this hotel is part of the Best Western chain, which is supposed to guarantee a certain standard. Unfortunately, this establishment is very far from it. From beginning to end, it was a disaster. I strongly recommend avoiding this hotel.

Stayed at this hotel for proximity to the Marine Corps base and the amenities they offered. (These were primarily hot breakfast and pool+hot tub.) These two were terrible quality however. The hot tub was closed off and neglected with a chair inside of it. The breakfast was disgusting. Cold and stale potatoes. Excessive wet powdered eggs. On top of all of this, our room was disgusting. There was cockroaches, trash and dirty socks under the bed, made no effort to ensure the shampoo and conditioner were full. Went through Expedia to seek compensation for this experience and they refused to take any accountability. Would highly recommend staying away from this location.
