Friendly Hills Inn

Unfortunately, Friendly Hills Inn was fairly unfriendly toward me as a patron. The first night I stayed with them, the room lock was broken and they were unaware of this until I apprised them of the situation. They shifted my room, which I appreciated, but it gets much worse. A religious necklace and family heirloom was taken from my room that I stayed in and the hotel and staff claimed that no one had ever complained and as a byproduct they wouldn't do anything for me in regards to compensation or any true attempt at conversation with management. They claimed that the general manager would call me within 20 minutes to discuss the situation - but I never received a call back from them. I had to chase them down, call several times and then was berated on the phone as if I, the customer, was lying to them about their housekeeping staff. I've been a business owner for over 10 years. The refusal to do anything for me is extremely bad business for anyone else who wants to stay at this hotel in Whittier. They also didn't communicate that housekeeping would be coming in to the room whatsover. I would encourage you to not stay at this business as they don't care about cleaning up their actual messes or retaining business and reputation.

AWFUL!! General manager was extremely rude when I told him that my property was missing from my room and he basically said too bad so sad I don’t care. And kept blaming me when the only people that entered my room were housekeeping. Beware it’s awful. There was nothing good.

My wife and I come to Whittier to visit twin brother and niece and nephew we always stay at Friendly Hills Inn it is a great experience. Great staff location is convenient close to restaurants and shopping. No noise enjoy pool.
