Motel 6 Los Angeles - Whittier

I was in the area and stayed the night while out of town on business. Room was very clean and hotel was very quiet. Had a good night sleep and good water pressure in the shower. Will stay again if in the area on business

Stayed for 3 nights. Booked our room with a queen size bed. Our room had a double. Called the office and they said that, that is the size of their queen beds. Really? Then my wife called and complained and they moved us to another room with a real queen size bed. Front desk forgot that that one was actually a room with a double bed. Load the car and then unload again. Like all Motel 6s we have stayed at, there is no shampoo, only hand soap. Water pressure was dismal in the shower and sink. The days we stayed were unusually cold for SoCal. Quess what? the heater was not working either. Called, but never fixed. Asked for and got another blanket, with burn holes. Freeway side of motel is very noisy. Had to use white noise on cell phone to try and block out the noise. Love the fake hardwood floors, but I think it would be better to stay on second level as there was a noisy family above us until midnight. Oh, no micro or mini fridge and ice for the cooler is crazy expensive in SoCal.

Today (12/26/16) at the Motel 6 in Whittier, CA I had a concern about the low water pressure in the shower. Within 10 minutes the building engineer was at my unit. He replaced my shower head with a brand new shower head. How cool is that? Later on that day I saw a team of painters, painting the railings with a fresh coat of paint. The staff here are friendly and professional. I love this place.
